This charming bookshop near the train station sells only books related to water: boats, diving, fishing, navigation maps, maintenance, navy etc. They also sell beautiful pictures and maps of the lagoon and Venice. There are gorgeous cards and little sea-related gifts like compasses.

The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. My husband loves this shop so I buy him a book every birthday and Christmas. I never know what to choose so I let the owner decide  – she hasn’t got it wrong yet!
