Go to the small room at the back for children’s books – but watch your head on the low doorway! There’s a great selection of books for all ages. They also sell small cardboard cutout models for making some of the sights of Venice and a kit for making a small wooden gondola. Our older daughter loves these so we sometimes buy one for her before we go to a restaurant and she sits quietly making them while we relax. For the small ones we buy them some sticker books (there’s a rack near the entrance).
