This is a park right in the centre of Venice, just off Strada Nova and near to the Ghetto and the train station. There are two play areas, one for younger kids and one for older kids, and lots of benches. There is plenty of shade in the summer thanks to the tall trees. You can enter via two gates. The first is on Fondamenta de Ca Labia, near to Ponte della Guglie (Strada Nova).

Alternatively turn up the alleyway (Calle de la Misericordia) opposite the famous “Pasticceria Dal Mas” on Strada Nova. After passing Osteria al Cicheto (why not check that out while you’re in the area), turn right onto Calle Pesare. This is a long, narrow alleyway, and there is a large iron gate along it, which leads into the park.
